Challenge: Build AR experiences that allow fans to build affinity with George Ezra and feel more like a part of the fan community. Bring fans closer to George, let them embody the album, and sing with George.
Solution: The team focused on creating two different AR formats – Virtual Avatar and Target AR (using the target tracking technology.)
The Target AR, we brought the image from the 2D world into the 3D one. When the user points the camera at the target, the silhouette of George gets a convex effect. Also, by using 3D animation, the details and background come alive. The part of the image gets the color textures that bloom around the silhouette of George, immersing the users in hypnotizing visuals.
